Real Madrid news

Chelsea faces Real Madrid in a pre-season match at Bank of America Stadium in the United States. The Blues have had a challenging tour of the States as Enzo Maresca begins his tenure. Meanwhile, Los Blancos have suffered defeats in both of their friendly matches this summer.

Real Madrid is looking to conclude their tour of the United States with their first victory as they face Chelsea in North Carolina.

The La Liga and Champions League champions have experienced two losses during their time in the US, including a 2-1 defeat to their Clasico rivals Barcelona in their most recent match. This followed a lackluster 1-0 loss to Milan.

Despite this rocky start to the summer, Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to be overly worried, as his team has a chance to finish the tour on a positive note against a Chelsea squad that appears to be struggling at the beginning of Enzo Maresca's tenure.

The Blues have managed to secure only one win in their four pre-season matches so far and were overwhelmed by a youthful Manchester City team on Saturday night, with Erling Haaland inflicting much of the damage. As the Premier League season approaches, Maresca will be eager to build some positive momentum.
